Inspiracja przychodzi znienacka i zabiera mi kompletnie kilka wieczorów tuż przed ostatecznym terminem przesyłania zgłoszeń. Moi drodzy, praca na konkurs Preciosy , edycja sierpniowa, inspiracją były koraliki Pip . :) *** Inspiration gets you by surprise and completely consumes several evenings of my time right before the final deadline. Ladies and Gentlemen, here's my entry for this month's contest from Preciosa , inspired by Pip pressed beads . :) PS. "ፀሐይ" w języku amharskim oznacza słońce ; wisior istotnie zawiera w sobie taką symbolikę. :) *** PS "ፀሐይ" means sun  in Amharic; I think it indeed has some of this kind of symbolism. :)

Finally, after nearly a month of working on them in my free time, I am pleased to show you my contribution to this year's easter: fancy ornamental eggs made exclusively of Preciosa Ornela glass seed beads (and a few fire polished beads). I've used quite a lot of those tiny beads sizes 8/O, 9/O and 10/O, light blue and pale translucent gold two-cuts. I've got my personal favourite colours: the dark chocolate reddish and this wonderful lustered green (totally a colour of spring), though the salmon pink looks absolutely cool too. All three eggs will be given to my family - I hope they'll like it! These beaded cuties were created for this month's Preciosa "My Czech Beads" contest , whose topic this time is Easter and spring, the two things I was thinking of while making them. *** A teraz po polsku. :)  Koralikowe jajca świąteczne stworzone w celu konkursowym jak i podarunkowym. Dziś prezentuję wam z dumą zawartość kilowej paczki od Preciosa Ornela, którą otrzymałam za ślubny  naszyjnik z agatem  zgłoszony do konkursu 'My Czeh Beads'! Na początek całość: oprócz drobnych koralików, twin beads, farfalle, solo i zestawu z najnowszymi Pip beads w paczce znalazły się też dwa długopisy, ołówek z koralikową kulką, smyczka, kartonik z lupą i miernik z rozmiarami koralików, trzy ozdobne woreczki, pendrive z pełnym katalogiem wszystkich wzorów i kolorów koralików i książeczka z tutorialami. Ależ zestaw! Zbliżenie na drobnicę: I jeszcze ujęcie tzw. "Manager's special", czyli mieszanki menadżera (250g różności w odcieniach od pomarańczu, przez czerwień po róż) po sortowaniu (musiałam): Today I may die! (Or maybe when I use all of those...)

Hello there! Here's a necklace I made for Preciosa Ornela 's contest (well why not try). This month's theme is wedding, and I wanted to depart a bit from the stereotypical all-white jewellery. With a perfectly white dress, some colorful accent is needed for the bride to look impeccable. I've decided to add some warm, orange colours to the traditional white.This necklace, made with lots of Preciosa seed & fire polished beads, would be a great and elegant addition for a momentous occasion such as wedding, but it also has the more practical use and would look amazing with a plain dress or a blouse with a deep neckline or, on the contrary, with a bateau neckline. I wanted to make something that would also be not typically 'disposable', for a single use, as most of wedding clothes and jewellery is.
