Wielkanocne koralikowe jajka/ Beaded easter eggs

Finally, after nearly a month of working on them in my free time, I am pleased to show you my contribution to this year's easter: fancy ornamental eggs made exclusively of Preciosa Ornela glass seed beads (and a few fire polished beads).

I've used quite a lot of those tiny beads sizes 8/O, 9/O and 10/O, light blue and pale translucent gold two-cuts. I've got my personal favourite colours: the dark chocolate reddish and this wonderful lustered green (totally a colour of spring), though the salmon pink looks absolutely cool too.

All three eggs will be given to my family - I hope they'll like it!

These beaded cuties were created for this month's Preciosa "My Czech Beads" contest, whose topic this time is Easter and spring, the two things I was thinking of while making them.

Koralikowe jajca świąteczne stworzone w celu konkursowym jak i podarunkowym. Z ambitnych planów pozostało tyle, po dwóch próbach oplecenia jajka koralikami ściegiem herringbone stwierdziłam, że mam dość i trzecie oplotłam siateczką. Za rok zrobię chyba więcej takich siateczkowych. Według mnie zielone jest najładniejsze, no i łatwo jest dorobić podstaweczkę, na której jajo elegancko stoi.
