Hello there! Here's a necklace I made for Preciosa Ornela 's contest (well why not try). This month's theme is wedding, and I wanted to depart a bit from the stereotypical all-white jewellery. With a perfectly white dress, some colorful accent is needed for the bride to look impeccable. I've decided to add some warm, orange colours to the traditional white.This necklace, made with lots of Preciosa seed & fire polished beads, would be a great and elegant addition for a momentous occasion such as wedding, but it also has the more practical use and would look amazing with a plain dress or a blouse with a deep neckline or, on the contrary, with a bateau neckline. I wanted to make something that would also be not typically 'disposable', for a single use, as most of wedding clothes and jewellery is. Zostałam przez pewną klientkę obdarzona zaufaniem na tyle, że dostałam od niej kilka urodziwych agatów i wolną rękę. Staram się więc nie zawieść oczekiwań, a to są efekty mojej dotychczasowej pracy z powierzonymi mi kamieniami. W tej turze wykorzystuję kolorystykę agatów, a następną postaram się oprzeć na kontraście i swobodzie kolorystycznej. Zobaczymy jak to wyjdzie. :) *** One client decided to trust me enough to give me a bunch of beauteous agates and a carte blanche. I am therefore trying not to disappoint her expectations, and these are the effects of my work with those stones so far. In this turn I used the colours of the agates, and with my next works I'll try to use contrast and some freedom in colour matching. We'll see how it turns out! :)
